Keumsan Gallery introduces both young and veteran artists of Korea to foster creative exchange and understanding. By exhibiting artists strikingly different from one another, yet nevertheless grouped under the umbrella of “Korean art,” Keumsan strives to explore the essence of the Korean art genre. To explore the essence is not equivalent to an- swering the question, “what is Korean art?” but rather signifies a survey of methods and inspirations spanning genera- tions and backgrounds.
