ARTCOURT Gallery

ARTCOURT Gallery was founded in 2003 and has presented contemporary art ever since, with artists ranging from internationally acclaimed to young and up-and-coming, who are all all strong in their originality of concepts, materials and techniques. Our artists include Hitoshi Nomura, Saburo Murakami and Norio Imai, who have been at the forefront of post-war Japanese art, and Yo Akiyama and Shihoko Fukumoto, who have expanded and deepened the realm of craft. Along with planning exciting exhibitions that utilize the gallery space, we also work to coordinate exhibitions abroad, install artworks in architectural spaces, and facilitate the acquisition of works by domestic and international art museums and foundations. We also work on publishing monographs of our artists, and with this diversified approach, we strive to become a central source of contemporary art in Japan.
