CREATIVE SPACE HAYASHI

CREATIVE SPACE HAYASHI is a self-produced gallery that opened in Chigasaki Nakakaigan in October 2013.
We have produced this space as a platform for connecting people as well as evoking ideas and inspiration. The gallery space hosts various events on contemporary art and nature, while the Japanese house built in 1923 (Taisho 12) displays the works of artisans from the past and hosts events relating to Japanese culture. We seek to create a space that constantly impacts the visitors and to present the works of artists who transcend age and nationality to inspire the next generation. We are committed to producing an environment that allows different generations to mutually influence one another. For this reason, it is important to create a space that leaves a continuous and lasting impression that is not limited to temporal displays of the works. We believe that the gallery exists to enrich the hearts and lives of the people, which in turn influences the activation of society.
